Acceptable Use Policy

Acuvo is a business communications platform: an AI receptionist that answers inbound calls for your business, an AI outbound calling assistant ("CLOSER") for contacting your own leads and prospects, and an AI meeting participant. It exists to help real businesses run real customer and prospect communications, not to contact people who haven't given you a reason to.

You are responsible for how you use it. This policy exists so that if it's misused (to harass someone, prank-call a number, or run calls you had no right to make), that misuse is squarely on the account that did it, not on XXIautomate.

You must not use Acuvo, in any of its modes (Receptionist, CLOSER, Meeting AI), to:

• Harass, threaten, intimidate, stalk, or annoy any person, including prank calls or calls made purely to bother the recipient.
• Call any number without a lawful basis to do so: no consent, no existing business relationship, and no applicable exemption under the calling laws of the recipient's jurisdiction (including Australia's Do Not Call Register Act 2006, the US TCPA, or equivalent telemarketing/anti-spam laws elsewhere).
• Call a number on a Do Not Call register, or any number that has previously opted out, outside a narrow legal exemption you can actually justify.
• Spoof, falsify, or obscure caller ID with intent to deceive or defraud the recipient.
• Clone or use anyone's voice or likeness (face, in Meeting AI) without that person's clear, informed, and (for the cloned voice or face itself) direct consent.
• Run scams, phishing, fraud, or attempts to extract financial, medical, or other sensitive personal information from a caller under false pretenses.
• Impersonate emergency services, government agencies, law enforcement, or debt collectors.
• Send political, charitable, or other robocall campaigns that require consent or registration you haven't obtained.
• Attempt to disable, bypass, or circumvent the platform's safety features: AI-disclosure, recording-consent, do-not-call scrubbing, or objection/opt-out handling.
• Use the service in any way that violates a law applicable to you or to the person you're calling, whichever is stricter.

CLOSER dials the numbers you upload. Acuvo runs technical safeguards on top of that (a do-not-call scrub before every dial, mandatory AI-disclosure, and honoring an opt-out the instant it's spoken), but those safeguards check against what we know (our suppression list, your own configured do-not-call list). They cannot verify that you had the right to call a given number in the first place. That verification (consent, an existing customer relationship, a legitimate business reason recognized by law) is entirely on you, before you upload a list.

• We may suspend or terminate your access immediately and without notice on reasonable suspicion of a violation of this policy.
• We may investigate suspected violations, including reviewing call recordings, transcripts, and campaign data for the account concerned.
• We may report unlawful conduct to, and cooperate with, law enforcement and regulators.
• Repeated or serious violations end your account permanently with no refund of prepaid fees.

If you received a call from an Acuvo number that you believe violated this policy, email abuse@xxiautomate.com with the number that called you and roughly when. We'll investigate the account responsible.

This Acceptable Use Policy is incorporated into, and forms part of, our Terms of Service. Violating it is a violation of those terms, including the indemnification and liability provisions there.
